Join A League Team!

Congratulations for making the decision to join league play! We are confident you will enjoy the many benefits that this team-oriented environment offers, such as the opportunity to meet new friends, enhance your tennis skills, and to be part of a tennis community focused on a fun-filled competitive spirit.

Before you begin the sign up process you will need to ensure you are a current USTA member. Please note that it is a USTA rule that your membership is active through the entire league season. If you are not a current USTA member, click on the following link to receive a USTA member number. SIGN UP TO GET YOUR PERSONAL USTA NUMBER .

During this process, you will be asked a series of questions to “self rate” your level of play. Please note that you can ALWAYS play up a level, however, you can’t play a level below your rating. This is a critical component of league play, as it ensures no games are disqualified should there be a dispute on your rating.

Now that you have your USTA member number, you are ready to sign up for league play. Working closely with the Murrieta Tennis Club USPTA Pros, you will decide what rating team best suits your goals for league season.  Always remember that you can play at your rated level, as well as playing up a level on a second team. Once this is decided, the Murrieta Tennis Club will sign you up on a league team through the USTA which their fees are typically $21 per team or only $3 if you choose to be a captain. The Murrieta Tennis Club will also bill your account and then you are ready to begin a season of great tennis!
